As we write this letter, our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude towards the Lord for Who He is! He is good and He is faithful, and His mercy and loving kindness endures forever! Anyone who places their full trust in Him will never be ashamed for doing so.
While the pressures and trials of the world around us seem to be increasing, we want to remind you that no child of God is ever alone. The Greater One, that greater inner-witness of the Holy Spirit that resonates in our human conscious, will always be a trusted guide, friend, comforter and stand-by!
1 John 5:9-10 says, “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for this is the witness of God which He has testified of His Son. He who believes in the Son of God has the witness in himself”
Learning to trust the leading of the Holy Spirit is essential for every believer. He will always lead us out of temptation and trouble, and into God’s perfect will of victory for our lives. The key is to not allow the trouble or challenges around us to drown-out or over-power His witness within us.
One very effective way to quieten the ‘noise’ of our challenges so we can hear the gentle leading of the Holy Spirit more clearly, is to be thankful. Sincere thankfulness towards the Lord has the power to completely shut-out every negative influence and release the flow of heaven into every area of our lives!
No matter how overwhelming the challenging circumstances in your life may seem, as you begin to place your full attention on who the Lord is, and His faithfulness towards you, things will begin to change. Beginning with your perspective. You’ll begin to see things from your Heavenly Father’s perspective. Imagine yourself where His Word says you are – seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above every opposition!
Remind yourself of the truth that He is in you, He is with you and He is for you! Ephesians 1:3 says you have already been blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm! One translation says, we have been blessed with everything heaven enjoys! Praise God! Goodness is His nature, and regardless of what you are going through, He will always be good to you! Even while your attention is distracted by challenges, He is working His goodness in your life, but while you are not focused on it, you simply won’t see it.
The Bible says His mercies are new every morning and His love for us is steadfast! We can use our faith to receive the flow of God’s goodness and mercy towards us. Just as faith is the pipeline or conduit for the flow of God’s power in our lives, our faith draws from the source and well of God’s Spirit within us, and causes His goodness and mercy to flow too. Along with that flow is His peace, and it’s that very same peace that leads us out of trouble and into victory.
How do we get our pipeline of faith to draw, unhindered, from that well? According to Romans 10:17, the force of faith comes and increases in our lives by the Word of God we hear and make our own. For some believers just knowing that His love and mercy are assigned to flow towards us each day is all it takes to receive that flow and see it manifest in our lives. For others, it may not be as easy, because somewhere along our journey of faith, our pipeline of faith has been damaged or clogged up.
What would damage the pipeline of faith? Any thought process that contradicts what the Word says concerning who we are in Christ, and if we don’t correct it, it will hinder the flow of faith in our lives.
If we are not convinced that our “new man”, the part of us that communes directly with God, is completely righteous before Him; and that because of the full redemption we have received from Jesus, we are never disqualified from receiving anything other than God’s love, mercy and goodness – our faith to receive that flow will be hindered. We can repair the damage to our faith pipeline and unclog the blockage by simply renewing our minds to the truth of God’s Word! Romans 3:22 says the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, is for ALL who believe! Romans 5:17 tells us our righteousness is a gift! We did nothing to earn this position with God! We can confidently accept this position not because we are worthy, but because Jesus is!
As you turn your attention on the truth of God’s Word concerning you today, and thank Him for it, your thanksgiving and praise will draw up the powerful flow His mercy and goodness that has been assigned to accompany you everywhere you go! And your praising Him will cause His power within you to go to work – strengthening and empowering you, and changing the circumstances around you to align with His Word as you declare it!
This is the reality we believe every one of our partners will experience! It’s certainly what we pray over you – especially since you have chosen to link your faith with ours to see this Good News of our new life in Christ touch the nations of the world!
As you obey the Lord in sowing your partnership seed this month – we are fully convinced He will honour His Word concerning you – causing a mighty harvest of increase to flow right back into your life!
