What a blessing it is to be able to encourage you in the Lord again! This truly is the year of dreams fulfilled and God’s marvelous blessing over His people, who love Him, walk in His ways, and have secured their trust in Him!
God has promised to watch over His Word to perform it, and as His covenant children, we choose to hold fast to our confession of that Word! We are rooted in the truth that He is trustworthy and good to all who believe on His Name!
1 John 3:22-23 says, “And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.”
What a glorious start to this month of March with REVIVAL 6.0!!! Hallelujah!!!
The Presence of the Lord has been so very tangible and strong in every session, and He is doing glorious things in our midst! To all of you who are able to physically attend the meetings, Jenny and I want to thank you for making the time and effort to do so. We know it is a sacrifice, and at the same time we rejoice with you because of the reward the Lord is giving you in return!
For those of you who are able to join us remotely, we love and appreciate you too, and have no doubt the Presence and mighty working power of the Lord is coming right through the airwaves into your hearts, producing significant evidence of His glory!
Pastor Edgar Holder lay down some powerful truths concerning the glory of God in the church! We know His glory is His weighty presence, incorporating everything He is! His power to heal, restore, create, refresh, deliver, strengthen and recharge His children all exists in His glory! Because of the finished work of the cross – that glory is resident in His church! Both individually, and corporately!
Ephesians 3:21 says, “to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
The glory of God is in the church, by Christ, who is the anointed One and His anointing! The anointing is not possible without the participation of the Holy Spirit – He is the One who makes the Presence of the resurrected Jesus real to us!
What Paul was saying in Ephesians 3:21, is that we have no need to pray for the glory of God – it is already in the church, by the indwelling Holy Spirit!
Colossians 1:27 says, “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Here’s another confirmation of this glorious truth: John 17:22, “And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one”
So receiving the glory of God is not the issue for us, we already posses it through the Presence of the Spirit of God within us! What we need to know is how to activate that glory to move from our spirit-man into our flesh, and every part of our lives!
Ephesians 3:17 is certainly a good place to start: “that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love”
We must have FAITH to release the glory of God from our spirits into our flesh! The Bible says the way to receive faith is by hearing, and hearing the Word of God!
This means the more we read and acknowledge the truth of who we are in Christ Jesus, and who He is in us – from His Word – the more the Holy Spirit will make what God has said about us and Him in us a reality – through our faith! We must believe!
Then, as we believe, we speak! Jesus is the High Priest of our confession! He is the very anchor beyond the veil that takes the truth we believe and speak and presents it to the Father. Then the Father produces and brings into effect exactly what we say! Why? Because He watches over His Word to perform it! (Hebrews 6:18-19; Isaiah 55:11).
It’s time for us to increase meditating on Who God says we are in Him, and Who He is in us! Then as we hold onto that confession – our faith will cause the glory of God to not just dwell in us, but be released into every area of our lives because God, Himself – will watch over His Word to produce it!
Jenny and I love and appreciate you so very much and know that as you sow your financial seed into the glorious work of the Lord this month – you will be sowing into His Word being activated and produced in your own life!
